IT’S A TIME WARP! By Lee-Anne Peters
These past days I have been exploring this further. This isn’t the first time I have contemplated time. I wrote a chapter about it in my second book (Aligning with the Speed of Light). I have been time playing and aligning with the moment for several years now – so what is different now?
I feel that we can get so caught up in our day to day living, that before we know it we find ourselves trying to tread water to keep ourselves from going under. Pressures in our day increase, we constantly speak of time going so fast, we miss our family / friends, we may even want to be living somewhere else or be in a different job! Before we know it – our daily lives are full of these old habits again, and then time starts speeding!
At this point in time, I do feel we are experiencing a rapid ‘overlapping’ of time. It reminds me of one of those ‘Vienetta’ icecream desserts (see below). Time seems to be folding in on itself.
What can you do to get back in charge and to align with this rapid pace?
* Stepping into your Individual Sacredness through: self honour, self valuing and self nurturing seems important right now.
* Being aware of the thoughts you are thinking – is always essential!
* Play with time and your day and find the best ways (including mentally) to hold onto moments and live in the now.
* Reassess your schedule.
* Avoid time-wasting activities – it really doesn’t matter what these are, but you will not fully ‘be’ there in your heart.
* Set tasks / projects to work through most days so you can feel like you have achieved something.
* Listen to your body - honour it, love it, feel it, BE it!
* Do your best not to constantly ‘check time’ – unless you have an appointment of course.
* Spend time in nature.
* Focus as much as you can on breathing consciously – feel that air as it enters / exits your body.
Spending some moments just focusing on your breathing! |
Spend
a moment or two consciously breathing. Bring your gaze to each word as you read
it, really feeling and absorbing the moment. Slow this down, really holding
onto each moment as it expands into the next.
Bring
your awareness back to your breathing, really slow it down and focus for as
long as you can on holding your breath. Do this comfortably, please don’t
strain. Maybe something like; breathing IN for 4 counts, hold for 2 counts and
breathing OUT for 5 counts, hold for 2 counts and repeat. As you get more
comfortable and relaxed with this; play with extending the counts. Feel your
body relax, and your mind let go as you become ever more present in this moment.
While
focusing on your breathing, have a break from these words for a moment or two,
and observe what is happening in the room or space around you. Capture and hold
these moments for as long as you can.
When
you feel ready, bring your absolute focus back to your breathing, breathing in
a similar way we just talked about. On the holding space do your best to really
notice what happens in that space in between your IN and OUT breaths. Do your
best to hold that space for as long as you feel comfortable, and then flow into
the upcoming IN or OUT breath, then holding again. Pause here, observe, be
aware and feel.
Do
this for as long as you wish and for as long as is comfortable for you.

As we (the collective consciousness) raise our energy vibrations along with the Earth, the illusion and separation of linear time becomes challenged. It can no longer fully support where we are and where we are going as a collective. So our approach, attitude and habits to time ticking by must alter.
What are your thoughts about time? How much is it warped for you right now? What have you done physically, mentally, emotionally or spiritually to help you stand on solid ground? Please share your thoughts.
